POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Demonstrate a commitment to the mission and vision of Delta College.
- Support and assess student learning and academic achievement to ensure student success.
- Develop appropriate innovation in teaching and learning to meet differing learning styles and needs.
- Collaborate voluntarily and energetically with colleagues in the academic discipline and with other faculty colleagues to develop effective learning experiences for a diverse student body.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Possess the ability to teach in both the classroom and the clinical setting.
- Possess experience in the area of obstetric and pediatric nursing.
- Posses the ability to work in a variety of settings and promote student growth and success.
- Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to relate to a variety of constituents as well as solid pedagogy skills that promote learning.
- Actively participate in and accomplish items that are required for accreditation for discipline, division and College.
- Actively support student retention initiatives that promote program completion.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends and spring/summer.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS;
- Master of Science Degree in Nursing.
- Current or obtainable Michigan RN licensure.
- Minimum of three years clinical experience in the acute care setting.
- Experience in Obstetrics (Primary) and Pediatrics (Secondary).
- Must be able to teach 10 equated hours in the fall, winter and spring/summer semesters.
ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCES CONSIDERED:
- One year of college level didactic and/or clinical teaching.
- Experience with learning management systems and exposure to online teaching.
