Job Description:
Dematic has an immediate opening for a Director of Global Accounts in our Grand Rapids, MI office. The role involves the leadership of a account-based team focused on sales and delivery of Dematic solutions to a Key Corporate Account. A dedicated engineering team will support the sales activity as well as execute a subset of the business sold to this account.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Successfully defines work flows, jobs, and reporting relationships to obtain optimum effectiveness.
* Area of responsibility has moderate strategic impact.
* Develops and manages departmental budgets and/or business plans for a large department or business unit or division.
* Has substantial latitude to develop policies/programs for area of responsibility or products and to forecast their impact; Analyzes effectiveness of policies/products and establishes future direction for functional policies and programs or products that affect company as a whole;
Aligns policies/products and development efforts with company strategies.
* Identifies resource needs with significant influence on approval of identified needs.
* Troubleshoots and resolves most complex problems within multi-departments and/or cross-functional areas.
* Determines organizational structures and supervisory relationship.
* Responsible for overall success of function or project within multi-departments and/or cross-functional areas.
Job Specifics:
* Designs overall operational objectives and work plans for direct and/or channel sales, and delegates assignments to subordinate staff.
* Manages the sales efforts of assigned sales managers in sales units for a territory, defined geographic area, marketing segment or channel(s).
* Designs brand strategy to meet or exceed objectives established for each brand..
* Develops strategy for retention of account base and development of new accounts.
* Designs and leads sales strategy to penetrate accounts.
* Makes final decisions on administrative and operational matters and ensures effective achievement of objectives.
*Understand and manage Salesforce forecasting software

Typically manages multiple levels of managers.

Multiple function, worldwide inter-organizational, and external.
