Job Summary: Grand Rapids dining services organization is looking for line cooks. Line Cooks will prepare meals by cooking, prepping, and following recipes to make food for large groups. Line Cooks work in a commercial kitchen setting with other the team members preparing for large conference and daily dining events.
Location: Grand Rapids, SE
Position Type: Full-time, Evaluation Hire
Pay: $12.00/hr
Schedule: Openings are available on 1st and 2nd shifts. Both shifts will rotate weekends working Saturday (10 hour days) and Sunday (12 hour days). Two days off during the week if the weekend shift is scheduled. Typical schedule is 40 hours/week.
Qualifications: Line Cook candidates need to have at least two years of commercial or industrial cooking experience that involved following recipes and cooking to order. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, have reliable transportation, and ability to pass a background check. National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) preferred, but not required.
