Currently, we are seeking a Front Fascia & Grille Systems Engineer in our Dearborn, Michigan location.
Responsibilities:
* Lead the development of Front Fascia and Grille Systems.
* Program responsibility will include truck and car products.
* Deliver the systems responsibilities for Front Fascia & Grilles through studio checkpoint process, FDJ, testing, engineering signoff and launch.
* Coordinate and implement all the required actions to improve overall customer satisfaction as it relates to the product while maintaining an affordable business structure.
* Generate cost reductions and revenue opportunities for current and future model programs.
* Drive the Product Development process (Design, Development, Validation, and Launch) of exterior trim components, achieving compliance of requirements; SDS, design rules, VDS, FMVSS and legal requirements.
* Lead engineering responsibilities for all regions including the exterior trim design review, design rule development and SDS updates for the components you are responsible for.
* Support MCR target achievement for Exterior commodities
* Lead and resolve all financial and part related issues for all tier 1 suppliers.
* Identify, develop and engineer innovative components to increase customer satisfaction and utility.
