Job Description:
Dematic Corp. has an immediate need at its Grand Rapids, MI headquarters for a Parts Specialist. The business title is Customer Service Representative. The purpose of this position is to handle a wide variety of functions related to spare parts for both internal and external customers. This position requires to work in a call center environment on a team of individuals with a common goal of handling quotes, orders, research, and return authorizations with accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness. Standard working hours are Monday-Friday 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. EST.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Enter daily spare part orders and quote requests that come in via email, fax, and phone
* Provide semi-complex answers to spare parts research inquiries using resources such as engineering team, purchasing team, drawings, bill of materials, and various systems
* Review order backlog and provide status updates to customers
* Process customer expedite requests by collaborating with purchasing and manufacturing teams
* Retrieving orders from customer’s web portals and entering in our order entry system (SAP)
* Provide backup functionality for other Team members as needed
* Performs other duties as assigned
Key Working Relationships:
External customers, intra-organizational contacts such as purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, and sales.
