DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for testing and evaluating various software applications and systems that support the BCN and BCBSM enterprise solutions. Triage enhancements, defects and software upgrades/patches and works with IT developers on design approaches to ensure defect solution meets the business needs.
Develop testing solutions to ensure the development has met the business requirements, including analyzing work requests and defects, claims queues and other sources of work. Design and execute test plans by translating business requirements into test cases, test scenarios, executing test conditions and records results. Analyze test results to identify software failures and work with developers to correct defects. Triage software defects identified by users, including understanding the nature of the defect, recreating the defect and logging defects into the appropriate tracking systems. Performs other duties as assigned.
