Lacks Enterprises is a locally owned and privately held business with roots in West Michigan for over 50 years. With over 20 facilities and 2000 people, we continue to grow. We have immediate openings for 2nd shift process technicians in our plastic injection molding facilities in the Kentwood area.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Investigates all problems associated with molded part processes, including computer programs, the auxiliary systems (heating, cooling, material feed, dryers, etc…). Identifies and defines symptoms and isolates causes.
- Performs all necessary corrective actions to eliminate problems. These actions may include advising systems assurance to perform necessary changes on computer programs.
- Assists the maintenance personnel in resolving machine process problems on an as-needed basis.
- Assists system assurance in monitoring computer programs.
- Understands all lockout procedures and follows them.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must to be able work 2nd shift
- Proven mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge and understanding of injection molding process
- Ability to work with people
- Full understanding of mold protect procedures
- Ability to obtain a hi-lo license
