Job Description:
Responsibilities1. Management of the Division Fleet resources to ensure optimum economical and effective logistics support tothe Division and Biomedical Region Headquarters.2. Manage the courier system through effective use of resources and monitoring of costs and perfromance.Manage the preparation of the budget and its subsequent implementation.3. Perform financial and operational analysis of fleet operations and inform Director of Facilities & Logistics of results regarding expenses and activities. Oversee financial activities, prepare financial statements and report financial results for submission to Senior Management.4. Work with fleet staff to develop quality systems, to ensure that quality logistical practices are in use throughout the organization. FL2004 Manager, Transportation.doc 2 Total Rewards - TR ver. 1/095. Utilize standardized operational procedures to support the strategies of the Division. Provide leadership and team building to enable effective communication. Manage resources for the fleet functions and ensure that the CEOs are provided effective logistics support so that they can meet their core missions.
QualificationsBachelors degree and five years relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in fleet management Three years progressive management experience is required. Must be capable of working independently to recognize and resolve issues.
