DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Position Overview/ Description:
Looking for Design and Release engineers experienced in powertrain cooling. Need engineers with knowledge of powertrain cooling hardware including heat exchanges, electrical and mechanical fans, hoses and valves.
In this role engineer will be responsible to lead design and release of powertrain cooling systems and/or components for one or more applications.
Responsibilities:
* Lead Design And Release Of Powertrain Cooling Systems That Meet Or Exceed Quality, Cost, Weight, And Functional Requirements
* Develop Robust Commodity Work Plans To Support Program Timing And Deliverables As Per GPDS Disciplines.
* Coordinate With Interfacing Activities Such As PMT/ PAT, Purchasing, Engine, Climate Control, Vehicle Engineering, NVH, HPUT, Calibration, STA And Body Engineering To Drive Compatible/Optimal Designs That Meet QCWF Targets
* Lead And Manage All DV Testing
* Manage Design Development Through Leadership Of CPMT Meetings, Design Reviews, Drive For Commonization, Meeting GPDS Milestones And Management Of Supplier(S)
* Document Design, Development And Signoffs In Evidence Books And Complete All Required GPDS Documentation
* Manage APQP/ PSW Process To Achieve A Flawless Launch
