Department Summary
The Enterprise Project Management (EPM) provides project management services to Energy Resources. The
Admin Assistant position supports the EPM organization at the JH Campbell site in meeting our objectives of providing
safe, predictable and cost effective project management services.
Job Description/Responsibilities
The EPM Admin Assistant will perform administrative support functions and more complex tasks including establishing
relative priorities of current and anticipated workload and organizing and conducting assignments according to deadlines.
Sets up office systems including file maintenance, correspondence deadlines, and project management for own work.
Provides backup phone and customer support. Prepares and composes letters, reports, and correspondence and
performs other clerical administrative support duties as directed from time to time. Maintains confidentiality. Performs or
establishes procedures for all clerical functions and actions including phones, filing, and general word processing, tracking
of information, maintaining logs/spreadsheets, and other similar administrative support. Under general direction, prepares
special or one-time reports, summaries, or replies to inquiries, selecting relevant information from a variety of sources
such as reports, documents, correspondence, other areas of the Company, etc. Participates as an active administration
team member by contributing to program development and organization planning. Performs responsibilities in a manner
that clearly shows effective communication and cooperation and that promotes open exchange of information, respect,
high ethical standards and professionalism. Maintains work areas in a clean and orderly manner.
Specific duties will include:
Administrative support for the EPM staff located at JHC
Provide support for monthly BPD updates in preparation for the MOR
Create manual purchase requisitions in SAP at the direction of management
Gather and report Construction man-hour data
Maintain Department phone lists and email distribution groups
Maintain safety observations report and distribute.
Assist with site EPM activities as needed (safety meetings, department meetings).
Order office supplies, lunches, and enter check requests as needed.
Be a site SharePoint Power User and Site Owner.
Be able to provide administrative backup at other EPM locations, as needed
Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by EPM Management.
Procurement Credit Card Reconciliation for all of EPM.
In summary, an Admin Assistant exhibits the ability to interpret and analyze a wide variety of advanced
departmental/functional/discipline specific information/problems, evaluate alternative courses of action, and recommend
appropriate actions to resolve the complex issues/problems. Primary responsibilities include gathering and managing
data, formulating reports, managing spreadsheets, and providing other administrative support to the EPM team. Work
tasks involve utilization of various platforms including SharePoint, Excel, Word, and SAP. This position provides support
for improvement of reporting methods and formats, including performing general
administrative tasks; works in SAP; and provides SharePoint power user assistance and other tasks as coordinated by the
supervisor.
The location for this position is at the JH Campbell facility.
Requirements/Qualifications
High School diploma or GED
2 years of related experience
Experience with the following will set you apart from others:
Associate's degree (or higher)
Advanced SharePoint experience
Experience working in a Utility environment
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Strong Software/PC skills that includes Microsoft Suite programs, with the ability to quickly learn SAP and SharePoint
Strongly preferred Scheduling resources
Organization/Prioritization skills
Excellent communication skills
Skill in basic problem-solving
Team player attitude
