Currently we are in need with someone in expertise in General Accounting. This position is working as a General Accountant at an automotive manufacturing facility with a well-known, growing fast, and reputable company in Chesterfield. The company has an easy going culture, they are looking for an Accountant with extensive experience with General Ledges, AR & AP. The pay scale is maxing at $60k as a direct hire with benefits included.

· Publish daily sales report vs budget for CH, EP and GEI
· Reconcile construction in progress for CH and EP
· Maintain monthly detail of CAPEX line and subsequent CAPEX loan accounts including all documentation to bank in support of CAPEX investments
· Update fixed asset system and all documentation as assets are placed in service
· Prepare journal entries including monthly accruals for plant payroll
· Maintain G/L and all monthly entries for our Mexican Operation
· Prepare monthly G/L entries by compiling and analyzing account information
· Reconcile Intercompany accounts
· Maintain assigned GL accounts for EP and CH
· Secure financial information by completing data base backups
· Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
· Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends
· Ability to handle confidential information
· Contributes to the success of the team by accomplishing related results as needed
· Backup for AR and AP operations
