Due to our steady growth, we have an immediate opening for a Business Application Analyst. The Business Application Analyst will be the liaison between Functional Area Lead & Application Programmers and to set direction/vision for the ERP application modules based on customer feedback and corporate direction/vision. This position is located in Farmington, MI.
Responsibilities
Assist with outlining of process and procedures for perspective areas of responsibility
Responsible for setup tables in PeopleSoft
Business Application Analyst will meet with owner, end users, and/or customers, to review business processes to help identify areas that could use improvement
Works with ERP Application module owner and/or customer to implement process improvements
1st Level Support for functional area
?Replicates problem, Isolates problem, Resolves problem or assigns to Programmer, Adds to Knowledge Base, Informs End User of progress and resolution, Reviews End User Training/Knowledge Base in Supporting Area
Business Application Analyst will research best approach and map out Resolution of Request
Evaluation and communicate impact of changes to/from other modules
Communicate to Programmer changes to be made
Test and Document Programming Changes
Test Documentation of Programming Changes
Business Application Analyst will participate in PeopleSoft user groups/conferences/virtual seminars/training
Support owner with end user/customer training
Report progress and status of open projects, new requests, and concerns to the Application Manager on a weekly basis
Ultimately responsible for strategy of setup tables in PeopleSoft
Ultimately responsible for “Best Practice” used for their areas of responsibility
Qualifications
2 years' minimum experience in PeopleSoft financials
2 years' minimum experience with PeopleSoft 9.x desired
Experience with EDI Communication is desired
Associate’s degrees or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or five years related experience and /or training or equivalent
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Must have ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedures manuals
Must have ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations, when applicable
Must have ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
Must have ability to research, apply concepts, test and prove or disprove theories
Must have attention to detail
