SUMMARY:
Management Business Solutions is seeking an temporary File Clerk for a company in downtown Grand Rapids, MI. This is a part time contract employment opportunity with working hours of 5 hours a day. The ideal candidate must possess computer skills. Additionally, we require someone who is detail oriented, reliable, and able to multi task, has good written and verbal communication skills, energetic, and organized.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- File records away in alphabetical or numerical order.
- Code files for proper placement.
- Retrieve files as necessary.
- Clean and maintain file space.
- Manage all databases and records.
- Purge old files.
- Create new entries as needed.
- Log all files that removed.
- Fax and photocopy files.
- Process and scan files to be entered into computer in digital database.
- May also answer phones when necessary
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Detail Oriented
- Priority Setting
- Ability to multi-task
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Products - Outlook, Word & Excel
- High school diploma and five years of experience in clerical/secretarial work, or any equivalent combination of training/experience required.
- In-depth knowledge of standard office procedures, effective practices and processes, and office equipment preferred.
