About the Job
As a Program Coordinator, you’ll build mentoring relationships with students that help them grow in confidence, leadership, and self-sufficiency. You’ll create group sessions where students explore new activities, learn life skills, and celebrate their strengths. You’ll also partner with schools, families, and community members to support student success. Every day is different. One day you may be leading a cooking activity, the next cheering at a talent show, and the next helping a student complete her first college application. No two days are the same, and every day brings the chance to inspire joy, growth, and impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate engaging group sessions and provide supportive mentoring for middle and high school students.
- Coordinate program logistics including meals, supplies, transportation, and site relationships.
- Provide case management, advocacy, and crisis support as needed.
- Lead and coach interns, program specialists, and volunteers to grow their skills.
- Contribute to agency-wide events, storytelling, and community impact.
About You
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Education, or related field, OR equivalent experience.
- Experience working with youth (middle/high school or college).
- Experience working with diverse populations and leading teams.
- Strong facilitation, organizational, and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and insurance.
