We have the ability to hire either an Associate Business Relationship Manager or Business Relationship Manager
Business Relationship Managers build and maintain positive relationships with our business stakeholders – both leadership and subject matter experts. They are the primary liaison between IT and the Business. Working alongside their Business Peers, the Business Relationship Manager participates in the identification of the needs of Dart and ensures that appropriate technology or services are developed to meet those needs. He or she will have the ability to elicit, analyze, specify, and validate the needs of business stakeholders.
Specific Duties
Meet with decision-makers, system/infrastructure owners and end users to define business, financial, and operation requirements and systems goals
Perform analysis of business or technology requirements and processes
Identify and resolve systems solutions
Translate conceptual requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to the development team, the project team and executive management
Translate business and technology requirements into systems qualities and subsequently into repeatable design strategies and patterns that enable those qualities (e.g. adaptability, scalability, availability, non-repudiation, re-usability)
Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing processes and systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging technology solutions to meet business goals
As an advocate, the Business Relationship Manager supports or promotes their business peers' interests
Liaise with business peers and IT staff (analysts, technicians, software developers) to assist in resolving problems with processes and the associated solutions and software systems
Accountable for the management of requests from business peers for enhancements and demand for system changes requested while ensuring IT is providing consult to their requirements and aligning priorities to achieve
Participate in the evaluation of vendor software targeted for possible integration into the systems or environment, including strategic applications, tools, and utilities
Participate in cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems to aid management in making implementation decisions
Compile or design architectural models of current and proposed systems across the enterprise
Build employee knowledge and skills in specific areas of expertise by providing instruction/training to users on processes and system tools to perform their jobs
Ensure confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary information; adhere to company security policies
Maintain technical expertise, keeping current with evolving processes, systems, and technologies. Share that knowledge with colleagues and IT management
Collaborate with project managers and project sponsors to continually align the project with business objectives
Provide strategic consultation to assigned business customers to define or design business processes, functions and organizational structures
Requirements and Qualifications:

Non-degreed Candidates:

A High School Diploma or equivalent

Two (2) years of related experience in business administration/management or information technology

Two (2) years of experience working in a manufacturing company

Two (2) years of experience working as a Business Relationship Manager or performing similar job responsibilities

Degreed Candidates:

Associate's Degree in Business Management, Computer Science or related field

Two (2) years of related experience in business administration/management or information technology

Two (2) years of experience working in a manufacturing company

One (1) year of experience working as a Business Relationship Manager or performing similar job responsibilities

Two (2) years of experience working in a Human Resource environment

Solid understanding of HR processes, including familiarity with payroll, benefits, compensation, merit planning, recruiting and training

Demonstrated knowledge in how various HR processes impact payroll

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on listening and questioning skills, the ability to communicate technical subjects to non-technical audiences, the ability to present comfortably and efficiently to audiences of all levels is critical

Worked successfully in Customer and Business facing roles

Demonstrated ability to pull together the people, process and technologies to deliver business solutions

Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills including collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation skills

Ability to collaborate with IT and business teams working at remote locations

Familiarity with project and program management planning, strong organizational and follow up skills

Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

Knowledge of financial modeling as it pertains to IT investment through the use of ROI and NPV analysis

Ability to travel up to 15% of the time domestically and internationally

On call availability 24/7, 12 months a year
