Senior Financial Analyst

We are currently looking for a SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST to work at our GRAND RAPIDS, MI (HQ) facility to become a member of our North American Finance team and will report to the Director of FP&A.
Position Responsibilities:
This senior-level position will be a key member of the North American FP&A team. This position will be actively involved in the annual budget preparation and monthly financial forecast process in order to provide strong insights/analytics to where risks and opportunities are within the business, and help leadership make informed decisions.
Core Responsibilities of the Position:
* Support, analyze, and assist in the preparation of the Company’s annual budget and monthly forecast
* Identify and research monthly and quarterly variances to budgets and forecast, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
* Lead the development of the annual capital budget and monthly forecasts
* Perform financial analysis at complex levels including rate of return, depreciation, working capital, investments, budgeting, and financial expense performance comparisons.
* Financial support to Shared Service Groups in analysis and planning during annual budget and monthly forecast process. Understand their drivers and objectives and partner with them to forecast effectively.
* Provide financial support and assistance during month-end close process to the FP&A team and other Finance teams
* Significant ad hoc opportunities for leadership and analytics
* Ensure all financial reports and analysis complies with appropriate accounting principles (IFRS and GAAP), company policies and SOX requirements.
* Occasionally travels overnight away from corporate offices, including internationally.
