Job Summary:
A Grand Rapids realty management company is seeking an Accountant to manage all accounting function of their company. The Accountant is responsible for ensuring that the company and all its subsidiaries are operating in a financially sound manner in accordance with Federal/State/Municipal laws. The Accountant will ensure accuracy of all financial records to protect lenders’ and investors’ assets and investments. This position will be responsible for reviewing property managers’ deposits and invoices to verify accuracy. Preparing budgets, financial statements, taxes, billing, and business reports is a large responsibility of the accountant as well as processing payroll and expense allocation for each realty location of the company.
Location: Grand Rapids, Downtown Area
Position Type: Evaluation Hire, Full-Time
Pay: $40,000-$60,000
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting highly preferred
- CPA certification a plus
- At least 4 years of successful accounting experience in private industry or public accounting
- Advanced level of Microsoft Office and QuickBooks
- National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) preferred, but not required.
