The IT Support Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining and supporting end users. More specifically, this candidate will be responsible to act as a first responder with regards to support for desktops, printers, and basic networking gear. Additional job duties will include, installing both mainstream and in-house software, troubleshooting printers, Imaging desktops for deployment, troubleshooting basic wireless and lan issues, creating and removing user/email accounts in an Active Directory domain, performing regular preventative maintenance on desktops and printers, contacting various vendors for warranty repair on various hardware, the installation of data cabling and assisting in the inventory of IT assets. The candidate should be familiar with a majority of all things listed above and have the willingness to adapt and learn new technologies as we grow.
We are seeking someone to perform the following:
- Installation and troubleshooting of Windows servers
- Repairs and upgrades to computers
- Troubleshooting and repairing network issues
- Network installation of equipment (PC Workstation, Thin Clients, Laptops, Printers, Scanner’s, Routers, Switches, Phones)
The candidate must have:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Pursuing Computer Science degree and/or 3 months-1 year Technical Support experience
