Job Description:
Specific Requirements:
Dematic has a need for a Business Intelligence Specialist. The BI Specialist will be focusing on creating a dynamic environment that allows for Business Analyst from across the company to work with in our BI environments.This person will ensure that data sets are provisioned by the Data Management team properly and that our end user community is trained in the use of our BI toolset. This person will work closely with our Finance, Project and Engineering analysts to ensure they have the correct datasets available to allow them to create the KPI’s, reports and analyses required by their respective departments.
This person will also identify limitations in current tools and data usage in order to make recommendations for the modification and development of applications and tools to better support evolving business processes. This individual will also help document and define the information and monitor the data quality metrics established by our data stewards.
Location:
This person may be required to travel globally in order to identify and create sustainable regional relationships with key data owners and users in order to support the Data Transformation efforts. The individual must have a cultural awareness as they will be expected to gain support of each region to support their need of datasets. This individual should expect to travel between 15 to 25% of the time, though the exact amount will be on an as needed basis.

Develops very complex planning and design of business processes and systems. Develops recommendations for very complex changes in order to improve and support business activities. May facilitate very complex business case development (planning and initiation, responding to budget/plan changes, develop ad hoc planning requests and evaluations.
