POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for performing simulations and studies relative to automated assembly, tooling clearances, and weld feasibility.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- Responsible for performing simulations and studies relative to automated assembly, tooling clearance, and weld feasibility.
- Perform continuous improvement activities to improve safety, to increase productivity, and to reduce production cost.
- Follow customer supplied specifications.
- Perform all other duties, as assigned
Required Profile:
- Knowledge of Delmia D5 is preferred.
- Experience in work cells for automated assembly, material handling, spot welding and mig welding.
- Must have working command of the English language
- Must understand process engineering, tool design, plant layout validation, and offline programming.
Experience:
- Delmia D5 – proficient in this Software
- Office Suites
- Process Simulate software – proficient user of software
- Able to develop complete robotic line simulations
- Develops interference zones
- Build complicated kinematic devices
- Understands and applies mig &spot welding standards
Experience:
- 3 years of experience in Simulation environment.
