Mortgage Sales Coordinator

The Mortgage Sales Coordinator is responsible/accountable for working directly with mortgage loan officer(s) to originate and complete loan files for submission. Communicates with customers and referral sources regarding files in process and works to obtain additional business.
We are seeking someone to perform the following:
- Works with MLO and mortgage applicants to complete files for submission to processing.Includes:
- File input
- Collection of customer data
- Performs file review to insure a complete file is submitted
- Communicates file progress and updates with customers, processing and underwriting as needed.Collects additional information and clears file conditions.
- Makes joint call or independent calls on internal and external referral sources.May originate applications.
- Makes joint calls on referral sources, externally and internally.May maintain own application pipeline.
- Provides coverage for MLO vacations or absences keeping file process moving and taking any new applications from referral sources.May cover loan closings.
The candidate must have:
1. Specialized education/training normally acquired through up to 18 months mortgage experience.
2. Strong computer, organizational and interpersonal skills.
