Job Description:
Dematic is looking for a Project Manager within the Customer Service group. The successful candidate will focus on modernizations and upgrades of small to large complex material handling projects. Complex projects may contain or consist of PLC controls software, Automated Storage and Retrieval systems, high speed carton conveyance and sort subsystems, pallet handling systems etc. Preference will be give to candidates that possess or are in process of securing PMI/PMP certification.
Job Family Responsibilities:
Develops project plan for all projects or programs. Guides strategic projects or programs. Guides project/program management activities (defining scheduling, budget, risk, change, opportunity and resource management activities) for very complex projects or programs. Guides the technical review of system design and documentation. Develop client relationship and sales opportunities. Must be willing to travel for short bursts which may include weekend on site support.
Key Responsibilities:
Performs leading-edge areas of work for the professional field. Preempts potential problems and provides effective solutions. Displays original thinking in applying principles, theories, and concepts on a wide range of problems. Manages Projects in line with department Quality KPI Processes and expedites all financial management including accurate forecasting, budget management, invoicing etc. Need to have working knowledge of SAP.
