SUMMARY:
The contract Transportation Specialist will plan transportation for orders and review processes to effectively deliver product with priorities on quality, schedule, and cost.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Schedule deliveries with dealers according to established standard work
- Communicate with distribution center carries, customer service, and dealers on all transportation exceptions
- Use daily reports to execute planning of orders
- Use business intelligence tools to analyze shipment data and drive continuous improvement
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience required
- Experience in transportation, manufacturing, distribution, purchasing, or other relevant discipline preferred
- Experience utilizing a Transportation Management System (TMS) preferred
