Job Description: Job Summary:The PHSS Logistics Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that the physical resources (supplies and program materials) to conduct training and services for all PHSS programs within the division/territories are available as dictated by Red Cross program requirements. This includes ensuring that all equipment and supplies are maintained and in high quality condition. Also ensures materials to support classes, instructors, trainers, and teaching sites are available when and where needed and fully functional classroom space is secured. This position is responsible for adhering to all administrative activities that support policies and process.This position coordinates activities with the Training Specialist, Aquatics Specialists, Training Scheduling Coordinator, Divisional Scheduler and other PHSS programming staff. Manages visibility at all Red Cross community training sites.Major Duties and Responsibilities:* Supply Chain/Logistics: Manages all supply chain functions for inventory management, warehousing and delivery in an assigned area.* Quality Assurance: Ensures equipment is clean, properly maintained and in good working order. Equipment that requires special safety practices will be identified and managed to ensure audit compliance.* Resource Management: Recommends investments in technology, capital, equipment systems or other assets that will improve the quality of the delivery of PHSS services in the territory. Responsible for efficient and effective use of resources. Manages and implements inventory control process flow throughout the service delivery channels. Tracks and maintains records for inventory. Responsible for the management of the facility’s processes with the purpose of improving efficiency. Establishes the implementation of procedural operational policies, e.g. facilities resource guide.* Community Partnerships: Builds partnerships with local organizations to increase our ability to meet public demand for course offerings and achieve goals. * Communications: Engages in regular communications with instructing personnel and PHSS colleagues necessary for the provision of training. * Preforms other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Qualifications: * High school diploma or GED diploma required.* Related PHSS experience, either volunteer or staff preferred. * Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to simultaneously manage several projects and motivate teams under tight deadlines. Ability to participate in group meetings.* Education or service industry experience preferred. * Basic computer skills and demonstrated ability to utilize MS Office programs.* Ability to travel 10-30%.
