Chassis Controls Autonomous Vehicle Engineer - 19401BR
DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Position Duties:
* Create/develop/invent and integrate chassis/vehicle motion control systems for autonomous vehicles.
* Conduct detailed analysis, simulation and testing of prototype vehicles and systems (particularly braking and steering).
* Work with cross-functional teams to integrate chassis systems and vehicle motion controls.
* Work with suppliers to refine requirements, potential failure analyses, and verification methods to support production applications.
* Refine interfaces and algorithms to assure robust coordinated control.
* Identify weaknesses and propose revisions to improve quality, reduce costs, accelerate timing and improve engineering efficiency.
