Responsible for performing basic professional accounting and report activities within a corporate Finance organization. Reporting and accounting activities performed may include preparation of SEC filings and related statement and footnote disclosure preparation, as well as posting, reconciling and ledger maintenance for corporate and statutory accounts. The SEC Reporting Analyst position functions as a member of Corporate Accounting andreports to the Manager, SEC Reporting and Accounting. Reparation and documentation of certain disclosures and related supporting detail for quarterly and annual SEC filings (10-Q and 10-K. Preparation and completion of XBRL tagging related to external quarterly and annual SEC filings.Assists in research surrounding new accounting and reporting requirements and provide recommendations. Coordinates and prepares property, plant and equipment and definite-lived intangible asset impairment testing. Preparation of external reporting required pursuant to quarterly and annual census reports for U.S. Department of Commerce and Statistics. Prepares monthly account reconciliations for specified corporate and statutory accounts, including non-consolidated affiliates' reporting. Preparation and posts manual journal entries related to specified corporate and statutory accounts. Preparation of Sarbanes-Oxley documentation testing and walkthrough for specified accounts. Supports Corporate Accounting with additional projects and responsibilities, as necessary. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA preferred. Two to three years of Accounting or Finance experience required Corporate month end close procedures is preferred.Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong organization and problem-solving skill. SAP knowledge is preferred and Hyperion experience is a plus. Team-oriented and able to perform tasks where time management is key. Significant capability, drive and initiative to create and manage own work agenda. Must have good interpersonal communication skills. Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
