Our established West Michigan based Engineering Services Firm has expanded into Ann Arbor / Greater Detroit. We are currently searching for a Project Engineer who desires variety, exposure across different industries and technologies, and the opportunity for cross-functional applications to join our company.

Scope:
- Work with a well-established organization in the Automotive Industry
- Apply the appropriate depth of discernment and judgment to effectively direct projects in evolving environments
- Working side by side with Design Engineers
- Create and execute excellent automotive project work plans
- International business communication
- Retrieve coffee for one's self
- Residential and or Application Engineering experience
- Customer Interface experience
- Provide expert technical leadership in coordinating, facilitating, motivating, and directing efforts of cross-functional product development teams
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project and scope
- Assess design feasibility and provide DFM / DFA insight to the customer
- Lead project design reviews
- Nerf gun battles with your team to keep you alert and on your toes.
- Review deliverables prepared by the team before passing to the customer
- Facilitate team and customer meetings by delivering information effectively
- Ensure all activities associated with major project gates are completed and reviewed per schedule
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other related engineering degree required
- Automotive Experience Required
- Automotive Interior Plastics required
- Customer Interface / Strong communication skills
- Minimum 3 years of project engineering / project management of automotive, or other, product development projects required
- Must be able to reload a Nerf Gun in under 30 seconds
- Candidates must be currently legally authorized to work in the United States of America for any employer without restrictions or expirations.
