The Americas Region Support and Solution Delivery Team focuses on delivering and supporting highly reliable automation solutions to our manufacturing customers in North and South America. Solutions within our supported portfolio include applications such as OSISoft’s PI, Visiant Pimsoft SigmaFine, ThermoFisher’s SampleManager and Atlas, Automatic Information Data Collection technologies such as Radio-frequency identification (RFID) and handheld scanners, and a variety of other technologies. We work closely with Dow Corning’s manufacturing sites and Process Automation groups to understand and fulfill business needs and project requests.
The Americas Region Support and Solution Delivery Team Co-op position is responsible for: - Work with team members to create any needed documentation and training materials for project delivery and solution support - Be assigned low-level project tasks for completion - Be involved with monitoring measures and metrics, gathering assignable cause data when a metric falls out of control. - Create dashboards for measures and metrics - Provide IT support assistance as required.
Candidates must be at least a college freshman in an IT-related major.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Must be currently enrolled in college and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher. Must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours during both Fall and Winter semesters. Must live within commuting distance to the Midland Plant. Must upload most current transcript and current class schedule.
