Overview:
With continued growth and high patient demand, the Henry Ford Health System's Department of Internal Medicine/Division of Hospital Medicine is seeking board eligible/certified Internal Medicine Physicians to practice at Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital.

Responsibilities
The Henry Ford Medical Group, one of the largest multispecialty group practices in the country, is seeking highly qualified applicants to serve as Senior Staff Hospitalists dedicated to the care of inpatients. Our Division of Hospital Medicine consists of over 60 experienced clinicians who provide inpatient care in a variety of areas:
* Observation
* Medical Consultation
* Advanced Heart Failure
* Inpatient General Medicine
* Perioperative Care/Co-Management
* Telemetry/Cardiology
* Clinical Education
* Progressive Care
Our growing division, one of the largest integrated faculty groups in the country, cares for patients at our Main Campus in Detroit and expanding practices in our community suburban hospitals in West Bloomfield and Wyandotte. Clinical responsibilities are based on a shift schedule with several different flexible schedule options (Day, Night, and Day/Night Hybrid) available. There is no home call. Average daily census per hospitalist is 12-16 patients. Many clinical services are non-resident; however, teaching opportunities with residents and students are available on several of our campuses.

We are seeking motivated physicians who are dedicated to high quality care as well as maintaining exceptional patient satisfaction. Strong clinical and communication skills are essential. Hospitalist candidates must have a willingness to work in a collaborative environment with other healthcare providers and staff of other specialties. In addition, candidates should have an interest in quality improvement activities vital to advancing our inpatient care mission. Previous experience as a hospitalist or chief resident is desirable. Candidates seeking a position as a career hospitalist are preferred. Individuals seeking nocturnist positions are strongly encouraged to apply.
Qualifications:
* Must be board eligible/certified in Internal Medicine
* Internal Medicine residency training by an ACGME/AOA accredited program is required
* Must have valid Michigan medical license, MI controlled substance license, and DEA certificate
