Loss Prevention co-ops are responsible for primary security operations of the vehicle and staffed employee/contractor entrances to the Dow Corning Midland Site. Position responsibility includes; Monitoring/operation security and access control systems, security alarms, badge programming/creation, camera operations, and tracking system for shipping of dry and bulk materials. These positions have the daily operations for the vehicle entrances to include security and logistics inspections, logistical transactions along with badging and orientation requirements. Co-ops also perform support activities for site safety training to include fire extinguisher, fire watch, confined space and security awareness training. Co-ops must be able to multitask during emergency and normal operational situations to facilitate Department of Homeland Security requirements at all primary access points into the corporations flagship manufacturing facility.
Required: - Must be currently enrolled in college and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. - Must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours during both Fall and Winter/Spring semesters. - Must live within commuting distance to the Midland site. - Must upload most current transcript and upcoming fall schedule
