NovaCare Rehabilitation has a PRN position available for a Certified Athletic Trainer covering schools in Battle Creek, MI
We are looking for a per diem Athletic Trainer to fill in at a local high school on an as needed basis. This AT will work directly with the high school and local clinic. Applicants must be solid clinicians, communicate effectively and work well with others in a team environment. No clinic duties.
Must be an ATC with a MI license to be considered.
Impact Testing program.

A Certified Athletic Trainer is involved in the Athletic Training Services program: coordinates medical coverage of contract school's or professional team's athletic events and practices, coordinates the access of healthcare for athletes at contract locations, and designs/implements specific therapeutic programs for rehabilitation of injured athletes.

We also provide physical therapy and athletic training services to professional sports teams, colleges, universities and high schools.
Responsibilities
Athletic Trainers in this position are responsible for providing injury prevention programming including: functional assessments, individual and group conditioning, corrective exercise programs, and educational presentations under the direction of the Program Medical Director.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
BS Degree REQUIRED
National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) certification
Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
Applicable state license where required
