SUMMARY:
The Quality Systems Manager will implement and monitor strict compliance to all Food Safety, Regulatory, and corporate quality policies and systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with R&D, Procurement, Commercialization and Operations to ensure alignment with corporate and customer requirements
- Manage and develop a staff of quality professionals
- Provide leadership and technical assistance to plants by aggressively managing food safety and quality systems
- Track, trend and report the Quality Systems Performance Indicators on a regular basis to drive continuous improvement
- Assist in development of new quality systems, regulatory systems, and personnel to obtain business results
- Comply with all safety, health and environmental regulations and GMPs

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate’s degree in a related field required; HACCP certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality systems or quality management
- Strong experience in product & packaging quality, food safety, regulatory compliance, SQF or FSSC 22000
- Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Excel
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work weekends as needed
