DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Position Duties:
* Lead the Industrial Engineering Deliverables on Powertrain Manufacturing Engineering Programs
* Work in Cross Functional Teams to Design Production Lines and Manual Workstations.
* Use Virtual Tools to Optimize Line Flow and Output Work with Virtual Build Team to Analyze & Optimize Station Ergonomics, Material Presentation, and Operator Tasks.
* Define and Optimize Operator Tasks and Rebalance Operations to Achieve Optimal Headcount.
* Lead new model Labor Optimization efforts through benchmarking (internal and external), target setting, and tracking process change.
* Develop Launch Curves and Estimates for New Programs.
* Manage Manpower Plans.
* Work to Optimize Indirect Labor.
* Lead verification of manual workstations for machining at vendor run-offs.
* Lead verification of all automatic station cycle times at vendor run-off.
* Work in Cross Functional Team to support Production Trial Run Loss Analysis and Improvement Actions.
* Identify issues and drive resolution to achieve Rate of Climb Targets.
* Participate in development of Department Standards and Practices to Achieve Best in World Labor Content and Equipment Efficiency
