Responsibilities
* The social worker, licensed professional counselor and limited license psychologist provides expert evidence based care in the diagnosis and treatment of mental illness and chemical dependency under the supervision of a staff psychiatrist.
* The behavioral health therapist may provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy in addition to crisis intervention services.
* The social worker and limited license psychologist ensures that the quality of care is safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
* Master's Degree required.
* Minimum of 2 years POST Master's experience preferred.
* Experience in mental health in chemical dependency settings preferred.
* Minimum of 3 years experience treating children and adolescents with mental health problems in either an outpatient or inpatient treatment facility preferred.
* The therapist must possess good clinical assessment and report writing skills and be competent in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
* Competence with computer programs such as Microsoft Word and pprevious experience with the use of an electronic medical record is also preferred.
CERTIFICATION:
* CSW, LLP, OR LPC required.
* Preferred Certification: CSW/ACSW, LLP.
* Licensed social work therapists (LMSW) or Master's level psychologists (MA LLP) preferred.
