Job Description:
This position will be used to enhance and develop the Controlling function within the Dematic Global Finance Organization. This degreed position requires 5-8 years relevant experience. The position will primarily be analysis based in financials of Manufacturing and Global Operations.
Reporting directly to the Director, Finance, Operations and Engineering, the position will have the following tasks:
1. Critical involvement and oversight over Global SIOP (Sales Inventory Operations Planning) process
2. Serve as financial partner from forecast and budget standpoint to Manufacturing Operations. This would include review of actual performance to forecast and budget.
3. Monthly analysis of factory inventory - actual, forecast, and budget
4. Quarterly analysis of factory reserves
5. Complete detail review of production order variances and corrections as required
6. Participate in daily/monthly SQDC data rollup and package preparation
7. Preparation of key monthly and annual reporting packages for Global Operations
8. Support global factory controlling including best practice sharing amongst various locations
9. Oversee cost accounting functions as required and provide direction regarding standard cost setting
10. Coordinate and prepare of the fiscal annual budgets for business units supported.
11. Continually monitoring business performance, identify variances, and provide management insight into trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement
12. Support Global and Local Vice Presidents and Director, Finance on special ad hoc analysis.
