Position Type: Hybrid (1 to 2 days per week in the office) Location: Farmington Hills, MI SUMMARY The Sales and Application Engineering Intern will provide support to sales representatives by executing administrative processes and collecting and compiling marketing and sales data. This position helps to ensure smooth sales team operations as well as creates and maintains good customer relationships. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Provide troubleshooting assistance for customer orders, account statuses and relevant problems * Provide data and guides to help the sales team * Compile data, generate reports, and monitor performance indicators and sales / marketing trends * Manage sales tracking tools and report on important information * Assist Head of Sales with tracking specific sales strategies * Review pending orders and specific customers' requests to ensure excellent customer service and customer experience * Assist with proposal writing and reviewing * Develop and monitor marketing material * Support planning and implementation of customer and industry events QUALIFICATIONS * Actively enrolled and in pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Sales, Engineering, or Engineering Technology from an accredited four-year college or university * Ideal candidate would be pursuing a Master's Degree within business a completed technical Bachelor's Degree * Previous sales experience or sales support experience is a plus * Highly experienced with MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel, MS Word, MS Powerpoint * Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices is nice to have * Excellent communication skills, including persuasion and assertiveness * Analytical and multitasking skills * Teamwork and motivational skills Do you have any questions?
