- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 3+ years of experience working with metal
- 3+ years manufacturing experience in machining, fabrication, welding, and mechanical & electrical assembly.
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control and cost.
- Knowledge of shop machines and tools.
- Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
- Effective organization, written and oral communication skills.
- Interpersonal skills and ability to interface with various levels of employees.
- Good working knowledge with Microsoft Office suite.
- Remain stationary for 50% of the time
- Constantly move/traverse throughout the office to access throughout the office and shop floor to access shop equipment and machinery
- Constantly positions self to inspect shop product or machinery
- Constantly operates a computer and machinery on the shop floor
- Occasionally ascends/descends stairs
- Constantly inspect documents
- Communicate with others through talking/hearing
- Read/identify/assess forms and correspondence.
