Elementary MTSS Paraprofessional Position
Location: Hamilton Elementary School
Reports to: Principal
Job Description: MTSS Paraprofessional assist students with general support including:
- supporting virtual work
- individualized instruction in reading and math
- lead small groups of learners and provide written and verbal feedback
- assist with utilizing data (Acadience (DIBELS), EBLI, and iReady) to make instructional decisions
- work within the paraprofessional team
- assist wtih assessing students with Acadience (DIBELS)
- monitor recess, lunch and before school activities
- manage students both in small and large groups
- other duties as assigned
Hours: Approximately 27-29 hours per week. Overall daily hours will vary based on building needs. Monday through Friday, when school is in session. The position schedule will follow the Hamilton Community Schools school calendar.
Start Date: As soon as possible
Rate of Pay: $14.06 / hour
Minimum Qualifications: Must have a college degree; or have completed 60 college credit hours; or successful completion of the ETS Paraprofessional Exam (available through Michigan Works - 121 Clover St., Holland; 616-396-2154).
Preferred Qualifications: Previous work experience with Pre-K through 6th grade students, including students with special needs; experience with Acadience (DIBELS) and other phonics based reacing programs, EBLI and/or iReady experience.
