Job Summary:  
Assist in the development and deployment of lean project management processes and tools that enable Con-way’s strategic execution.  Support strategy and portfolio management through process governance development and facilitation.  Communicate and deploy Project Management Office (PMO) standards throughout the organization through training, development and coaching.  A successful candidate will be results-oriented, with strong business acumen and effective communication and collaboration skills.
 

Essential Functions:
Deploys the implementation of the Lean PMO strategy for the business unit
· Assist in the development of standards for project processes, tools and templates
· Assists in analyzing, interpreting, and developing innovative approaches to issues that support strategic business objectives.
· Assists in mentoring of employees in the use and value of process improvement methodologies
· Conducts regular, technical reviews and assessments of all strategic projects
· Develop project governance processes that utilize visual management principles
· Manage Lean reporting activities to facilitate strategy management
· Manage project repository and collaboration sites (SharePoint) to support portfolio management
 Performs other duties as assigned
