DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Position Duties
The Electrified Powertrain Engineering (EPE) organization is responsible for: Delivering the best fuel economy and refined Hybrid, Plug-in Hybrid and Battery Electric vehicles in every segment in which we compete; Consistently delivering the best customer vehicle value, profitably and; Delivering these objectives with performance and smoothness of operation that exceeds our customer's expectations. * Analyze weekly warranty claims and work with the Plant Vehicle Teams to ensure they are dispositioned appropriately
* Support weekly meetings to provide updates regarding Electrified Powertrain Engineering (EPE)warranty claims
* Host weekly meetings with D&Rs and/or suppliers to drive resolution of open issues identified in the field to ensure that robust ICAs & PCAs are implemented in a timely manner
* Manage projects, quality improvement projections, glidepaths EPE targets
* Publish monthly Quality Deck for EPE Function Quality Review & Commodity teams
* Publish monthly component plant Quality Deck
* Support the development of Lessons Learned by capturing critical to quality issues to ensure appropriate actions are taken to prevent reoccurrence on future programs
* Work with Ford Customer Service Division (FCDS) to pursue Warranty chargebacks where applicable
