We are currently seeking a full-time Sheet Metal worker with a background in operating various sheet metal machines such as a shear, trumph, and break press. Responsibilities include:
Using prescribed methods and techniques and knowledge of standards, able to set-up and operate sheet metal fabricating machines; i.e. shears, brakes, roll formers, machine punch, nibbling shear, beader, punches, drills, etc., to cut, trim, form, shape, and otherwise prepare parts and sections for assembly.
- Using hand tools, spot welders, riveters, etc., assemble parts and details. Using scale, square, dividers, calipers, straight edge to set-up and operate machines and to check work for dimension and configuration.
- Able to work from drawings, layouts, templates, bills of material and production orders.
