Prototype Material Financial Analyst - 16167BR
DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Position Duties:
The Prototype Material Financial Control Team in the Vehicle Evaluation and Verification organization has the responsibility to monitor the Prototype Initial Build expenses (material, tooling and labor) for Production Development’s early build vehicles. This includes daily interactions with the Prototype Supervisors / Planners, Finance, Purchasing and PPM teams. The Prototype Material Financial Analyst will focus his/her efforts on the processes, tools and data related to initial build Expense. The analyst will be responsible for a variety of business support tasks, including:
* Lead weekly process and status review Tooling / Audit / Metric Review meetings.
* Support establishing and cascading CBOM2 estimates / targets for the Programs.
* Maintaining the weekly / monthly program status to ensure accuracy of inputs based
from CBOM2 and Tooling Trackers.
* Develop and cascade documents / reports on as needed basis.
* Analyzing the top budgeted programs to ensure the tracking ties to the established forecasts.
* Data mining the within Ford systems including GPIRS, CBOM, GCH, and CPARS to
support the needs of the initial build / Prototype.
* Supporting initial build tooling and labor forecasting models with intensive updates.
* Interfacing with Purchasing, PPM, PD Finance and VEV Business Office ensure timely
completion of collaborative assignments.
* Consolidating information from multiple sources (GPIRS, GCH, CPARS, EFX, Accrual
Information, tooling and labor trackers) to produce weekly / monthly status reports.
* Maintaining Scorecard to track controls with the initial build financial objectives.
* Streamlining the production of the weekly/monthly status report through use of the
ELMS infrastructure to automatically consolidate data from multiple sources where possible.
