SUMMARY:
The contract Product Analyst will manage the day to day activities of the online store by adding products, writing copy, establishing pricing, running promotions, analyzing competitive pricing, and conducting web store analytics. This person will also interact with retailers on a regular basis and carry out other general marketing assignments as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs competitive analyses, in terms of product offering, features, benefits, and price, with supervision, to support marketing objectives
- Analyzes sales data, identifying trends in overall growth, as well as product specifics, to monitor impact of new products and services on overall sales and deliver accurate comparison to one specific existing product
- Conducts marketing research activities, with assistance, to obtain information on new and existing products to make product line decisions
- Participates in margin/cost analysis, including new pricing calculation to evaluate and summarize technical data
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, technology, or equivalent required
- 3 years of marketing and communications experience required; web and e-commerce experience highly preferred
