DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administrative Coordinator - Final Assembly CPARS/MEARS - Supplemental - 16098BR
Position Duties:
CPARS - Corporate Procurement and Receiving System:
Writing CPARS requisitions for Vehicle Operations Final Assembly equipment for North American plants. Work directly with Engineering, Suppliers, Buyers, Purchasing, Finance, Project Control as well as high level management for approvals.
Writing detailed descriptions of equipment including installation, calibration, timing, delivery location, quantity, and price range.
Work with suppliers and buyer for bids. Once the suppliers has submitted the bids, then working with the supervisor to select the supplier and update with the supplier quote.
Working with blanket orders.
Working directly with engineers daily to resolve issues that they may have with shipping, tracking, funding, etc.
Working with supplier with unpaid invoices to direct for payment.
Tracking CPARS orders to move quickly and resolving any issues along the way.
Use an Excel spreadsheet with daily updates.
Use an Excel spreadsheet to track and update total program orders. Share with program team engineers for review.
Fund Transfers:
Use Project Costing Asset Management (PCAM) to confirm available funds.
Use Program Financial Reporting (PFR) to obtain project and item numbers to write CPARS.
Transfer funds as needed.
MEARS - Mechanized Appropriations Request System:
Writing MEARS projects to request funding for new projects.
Writing MEARS/CPARS for Detroit Chassis.
Using dictionary codes and accounting codes for the correct description of each line item to order.
Working with high level management for approvals. · Working with the Supplier, Finance, and Controller for processing.
Tracking status of the MEARS draft.
After approval of MEARS, writing a CPARS order for the approved funding
