Electronic Finish Panel - Design and Release Engineer - 15853BR
DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Position Duties:
* Responsible for design, development, and release of electronic finish panel (electronic module) which contains class A controls (push buttons, rotary knobs, etc…) for both audio and climate functions.
* Authors engineering concepts to the supply base for RFI/RFQ packages.
* Work with the design and integration teams on class A surface development design feasibility.
* Responsible for maintaining AVBOM, WERS releases, Integrator, eFDVS, etc…
* Responsible for managing Tier 1 automotive supplier thru design direction, technology roadmap and implementation details.
* Assess and benchmark automotive and consumer technologies and suppliers.
* Aid in troubleshooting component level issues which may be mechanical or electrical in nature.
* Know and understand the Ford Motor Company internal development processes and deliverables per GPDS.
