2nd shift – 3:15 p.m. – 12:45 a.m.; ½ hour unpaid lunch

- Set-up, edit current programs, create new programs (they use Mazatrol, and some Gibbscam – currently not using it a ton, but may use more in the future). MasterCAM, SurfCAM, and other CAM software may be considered as they are transferrable. Will be machining parts for the petro/chemical and automotive industries. They have mostly Mazak CNC machines in there, but also has an Okuma and a Hardinge. Some are Mills and some are Lathes, but most of their lathes are 3 axis “live tooling” machines which machine more complicated parts.
- Maintain own CNC machinery
Experience:
- Must have 10 years’ CNC Lathe programming and live tooling and sub-spindles experience (with software, not just written long hand). Prototyping experience is highly desired; as this is not a machine shop/high production environment.

- Experience with plastics and stainless steel is a plus; plastics is highly preferred
- Comfortable in a prototype short-run environment

- Experience reading complex (sometimes 15 pages in length) prints from customers
- Ability to process and program jobs from a print.
- Must be experienced micrometers & calipers. GD&T and optical comparators experience is a plus. If they have CMM exp that is a plus, however, please note they do not have a CMM machine there now, but plans are to purchase one in probably 1-2 years.
- Experience ISO 9000 quality system would be preferred
- Looking for personable people that will fit into the group/meshing well with others, and have decent CNC programming ability. Must be hard-working.
