Part time / Per Diem LPN Nurse Houghton Lake / Tawas Area. Providing Care for Home Bound Patients for a reputable Medicare certified Home Healthcare company.
Assist in the care for home bound patients. Work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
DUTIES: Care for elderly sick , injured, homebound in their homes.
Administer prescribed medications, observe patients, chart, report, and document changes.
Provide basic patient care and treatments, such as taking temperatures or
blood pressures, dressing wounds, treating bedsores, or performing catheterizations.
Measure and record patients' vital signs, such as height, weight,
temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration. Assist patients with personal hygiene
Work as part of a health care team to assess patient needs, plan and modify care and implement interventions. Assemble and use equipment such as catheters
REQUIREMENTS: Must have a license in the State of Michigan and be computer
literate. Must have a minimum of 6 months med-surg. or homecare
experience. Valid Michigan Driver's License, auto insurance and current CPR certification.
