Machine Assembler/Machine Builder

POSITION SUMMARY:

Assemble machines, equipment, and their subassemblies based on customer’s needs and blueprint requirements.

Responsibilities

• Follow and adhere to verbal and written instructions and blueprint specifications
• Plan assembly procedures assuring compliance
• Modify components as required, documenting changes as needed
• Utilize hand tools as required
• Bend / install piping / tubing as required
• Use machine shop tools as required
• Verify functionality of assembly
• Meet planned deadlines

Required Profile:

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Understands electrical basics
• Ability to work with minimal direction
• Self-motivated
• Team player with problem solving skills

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Post high school education in tech program or engineering preferred

Experience:

• Experienced building machines, working in machine shop
