Position Description/Requirements Design and Develop SAP solutions globally for the Dow Corning Corporation using SAP’s proprietary ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming) programming language while being mentored by multiple senior ABAP developers. In this role, you will have the opportunity to deliver solutions for a vast number of Dow Corning functions while working in a highly collaborative environment. A person in this role will be responsible for: • Creating design documents based on user/customer requirements • Implementing new functionalities or resolving issues with existing code • Performing operational tasks to support all SAP developers at Dow Corning • Communicating progress on initiatives clearly and concisely • Presenting to small teams and receiving feedback/direction • Learning new concepts and sharing with development team Qualifications: • Excellent written and oral English communication skills (if not a native English speaker, very good skills) and excellent interpersonal communication skills are necessary. • A demonstrated high level of integrity, thoroughness, self-motivation, creativity, flexibility, initiative, and productive, collaborative teamwork is a must. • Ability to communicate and document processes and procedures effectively • Strong analytical, conceptual & problem solving skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools • Previous programming experience preferred • Previous ABAP Experience desired, but not required • Working on Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field. Required Qualifications: • Must be currently enrolled in college and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher. • Must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours during both Fall and Winter semesters. • Must live within commuting distance to the Corporate Site in Midland, MI. • Must upload current transcript (including cumulative GPA & Winter 2015 Schedule) to application.
