We are looking for a NA Sales Manager, LV & CV. The NA Sales Manager, LV & CV will provide timely communication to the Sales Director in regards to the 'voice of the customer' and will report on a weekly basis.
The team is ready to act immediately on those candidates who are the best fit for the role. You'll first hear from someone in Talent Acquisition to schedule a phone screen, and then the next step will be a personal interview with our Hiring Manager. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Communicate customer strategic issues (e.g. changes to 'Terms and Conditions', significant changes in volume announcement of a new model and/or powertrain, opening of a new plant and/or plant closure, announcement of a partnership/alliance, etc.) and appropriate customer news (e.g. bookings, etc.) to SP Leadership.
Communicate SP plan for gap closure for target content via white spaces. Responsible for OE teams maintenance of White Spaces.
Responsible to manage the OE account Managers, and the Tier Account Manager. This position is responsible for all NA LV and CV sales.
Work closely with Tier Business Manager to identify key tier account growth based on OE business award. Manage the communication and correspondence between OE and Tier One teams.
Drive new product implementation and specification at the OE's.
Responsible for teams support of annual goals for conquest business, price budget, PE, and achievement of the AOP. Responsible to report progress to the Director of Sales Americas.
Responsible for reporting sales demand on monthly basis and communicating the impact to flash to the Director of Sales Americas
Responsible to lead the development the business plan/AOP and the 5-year strategic budget with the Tier Buisness Manager, OE Account Managers and the SP Management Team.
Ensure all opportunities are captured and followed up in Sales Force. Responsible to report out KIP's for CRM to Director Americas.
Develop contacts at the platform engineering management level and vehicle operations. Develop contacts at the Tier One level.
Lead customer reviews to the management team.
Chair global cross functional customer team meetings.
Lead scheduling and coordination of an annual Technology show, an annual SP/Customer Executive dinner and customer social outings as appropriate.
Develop the customer sales and business strategies required to achieve SP's business objectives:
Achieve strategic plan annual revenue
Deliver profitable bookings to achieve 5% minimum p.a. growth greater than market
Maximize material recovery by balancing the overall business goals and objectives to ensure a minimum of 70% material recovery
Achieve profit enhancement of 25% minimum p.a.
Achieve or improve the pricing budget
Leader customer profitability improvement initiatives
Required Experience
EDUCATION: B.S. degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or other related discipline
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 10 years experience in a management role
Minimum of 15 years sales experience within the automotive industry both at an OEM and tier level
Required experience working with strategic planning, product positioning, competitive analysis and revenue improvement
Must be proactive, innovative and a self-starter with excellent communication skill and the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization
Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to solve customer problems
Strong computer system skills
Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time
